Facilities:  Northmoor is a friendly and relaxed livery yard in Halsall, with various sized stables to cater for all ponies and horses. The stable yard owner lives at the front of the yard, access to the yard is restricted by an automatic electric entrance gate, with easy access for liveries. Both barns are secured with combination locked steel doors. Good quality hay and straw (haylage and shavings on request) supplied to your tack room. A toilet, sink, hot water, hot and cold drinks, as well as token operated confectionery vending machines are all provided.

  Northmoor has a well drained and floodlit 40m. x 20m. sand and rubber all weather ménage, solely available to liveries on the yard. For both horse and rider safety the ménage fencing is lined with plastic, as used at racecourses. Also there are plenty of jumps, fillers and poles provided. All other relevant areas are floodlit. Daytime turn-out is available all year on well fenced, well established and maintained grass paddocks, with 2 or 3 horses in each paddock.

 Morning and afternoon livery services available, part and full livery services can be arranged.

  Barn 1 – 12 brick built American Barn style stables, each stable is 13 ft. x 14 ft. and each stable has its own secure 7 ft. x 14 ft. tack room.

  Barn 2 – 10 stables of varying sizes in an American Barn style brick building, with feed preparation area, and individual feed storage locker per stable, as well as secure storage for tack.

 Both barns offer good ventilation, cavity walls and insulated roofs provide a cool in summer / warm in winter atmosphere, with good lighting throughout.

D.I.Y. stable prices start from £18 per week.

The yard offers off road parking, and is on the 300 Liverpool / Southport bus route, with a bus stop outside the yard.

 No colts or stallions on the yard.
